we missed a few weeks of news, so we make sure you don’t miss a beat on what the biggest onchain gaming projects have been up to:
Pirate Nation launched their token $pirate and secured a day1 Coinbase listing, with that they concluded their S1 and started S2. They also released their litepaper and launched gems to boost ingame progression which can be bought using $pirate, they made over $1m in revenue with that so far. Because their chain is crushing activity records left and right, they had to close sign-ups for new players to scale their multichain.
WASD won the v0.11 round of Primodium, which concluded it. Thanks to the guys at Nightmarket, we’re now able to gamble on the outcome of a round, marking one of the first big piece of UGC built on top of Primodium. Apparently the team didn’t sleep the whole month and released the new “battle of the droids” round. With that they also made it easier to start hacking.
Redstone had a quite June. They’re part of the Optimism onchain summer campaign, added Hyperlane support and sunsetted their testnet. Skystrife also launched the 2nd season on Redstone.
One game which had their big moment last month is Influence. They had their global launch on Starknet, kickstarting their economy powered by $sway. They invested a lot of time and resources into marketing for this. They also received another grant from Starknet. The whole game is powered by session keys and the web wallet from Argent.
Fren Pet is shipping away. New engine for season2, Coinbase smart wallet support, introduced a pet mailbox and potions to the game and released a Telegram mini app. In addition to that they added a messaging system to teach crypto concepts through simple gameplay.
ggQuest’s June was all about pushing their Pirate Nation integration. They launched the Pirate School and saw over 1000 players completing quests, airdropped pirate gold to users and hosted 2 PvP tournaments with 512 and 128 players competing.
Uncharted launched both Blast the Balloon and Gangster Arena 2 last month. The latter received 158k Gold from Blast to give to players as incentives. To change the current state of points campaigns they introduced $xU and shared what else if on their roadmap of building gamified onchain experiences.
To round things off, here’s what Realms was up to: Eternum playtest is coming soon, they opened their own Influence guild and several games in the Realms ecosystem, and Realms themselves received grants from Starknet. Including Paved which has been upgrading their onchain carcassonne game relentlessly. Next so Starknet grants, Grugs Lair secured a pre-seed investment to bring their onchain game(s) to life.
